Stuck at home
Well I need to mow the yard, but that depends if it snows, then I 'll use the snowblower. It's also the fishing opener, so while it might be safe on the roads, all bets are off if you're on the lakes.
Best,

Bill,
I have a work comittment in Breckenridge, CO that will not end until July 2, which effectively puts me out of range for the International. Maybe next year!! Pity, as I will be 2.5 hours away in Hood River on the 4th or 5th.

Amen to that. It's a real PITA, and since it's my right leg, I can't even drive, or can't drive too far due to it being too awkward and painful. My poor wife gets to drive me everywhere. Unfortunately, we probably won't get the use the Bambi but once or twice this season before the snow starts falling again in the fall
Everyone else, get out there and CAMP, just because you CAN! I was originally going to go out the the Maintenance Rally (where InsideOut is going) to try and sneak in one last campout, instead I'm stuck on the couch.

Boondocking next weekend, this weekend we are spending time with my mom. Prime Rib and all of the expensive wine my father will take out of the cellar, it is a nice trade off.

I have worked just about everyday but Sunday for the last 4 weeks. I am so ready to go. Now I am having to scrub the AS, because The cat snuck in Wendesday night when I was putting towels ans sheets back in the AS. Didn't know she was in there till today. I like to have died when I opened the door and she howled and ran at me. Do you have any idea how much damage a cat can do? The bathroom screen is ripped to shreds, she broke a mini blind, hairs every where, even on the inside of the curtains. And she ruined our couch cushions. I had to spray for fleas and take stuff out to wash, what a mess. Least to say the windows and vents are open.
Anyway, Stephanie what do you all plant in your garden, been so busy here didn't get one plowed and ready.

My kids are in school until the 9th of June. Niece's HS graduation on the 10th. My wife is a nurse and works every Friday night and every other weekend. I hate her schedule, but if she didn't work, we wouldn't be Airstreamers.
Anyway, we're planning a trip to the beach on 17 -22 June, the mountains sometime in July and Galax in August. I might have to get away by myself sometime, since I have almost 7 weeks of vacation time saved up.

It's 2C here today, (36 F for you Americans), and raining. A squirrel made a mess of my Airstream. He chewed through one cabinet door and made a next, plus made a second nest in another cabinet, chewing up from below. I'll be cleaning that up today while filling the wood burning hot tub down on the river. (Yukon River - that's where I keep my airstreams). I'll be hanging out in my airstream but not going anywhere yet. Glad it's there though, to get out of the cold rain!

Husband took it to sunny Co.
Well I am sucking my thumb as husband took our little Bambi to Co. to work
on the property in the sun. This morning there is snow half way down the Mt.
and our high 43 and suppose to get 1 to 2 in. tonight.UUuGGGHHH. My daughter just called from Steamboat and said it is beautiful but a little windy.
Pups and I did not go this trip as John has to go on to Sante Fe then fly to
Tx. Too much road time......and I have to pay the bills..Ha. Hope y'all are having a good one...Happy trails, John & Betty

That's NO EXCUSE! Maybe if you had two broken legs and a nine month pregnant wife.

Need to do some rewiring and minor things before the maiden voyage but the buckets of rain have delayed that. Going to be a lite year of camping anyways as there is a European vacation in the fall.

I can think of several times in the last month that I almost broke my other leg, and the wife is now 9 months. FWIW, I have been out cleaning the trailer and doing some maintenance in the last few days, despite the fact I won't be camping in it until at least late August.

We were bookd in and ready to roll until it freakin' snowed at the campsite last night. I still wanted to go but Nic was not as enthused. She's 4 months prego, so I guess I can't use that excuse.
I may just go out and 'hang out' in the trailer today, see what I can tinker with.
