My trailer is sad this weekend as he saw the tent coming down from the attic, My husband and son leave in the morning for cub scout camp. So Peppy and I will be all alone for the rest of the weekend and the holiday. It was so strange to get the tent out, it has been years since it was used last year they let us take our pop-up to camp this year that's a no-no. Not to mention my husband is sad he is not going to have the nice comforts of the trailer my son could care less.

So this weekend the trailer sits in the driveway (or does it) Hmmm just had a thought, It's just me and the trailer, campground 12 miles down the road some spots left, they leave at lunch hmmmmm.

Isn't it a national law that Memorial Day weekend is for finishing up your garden? And don't those who are starting a new garden from scratch but would shirk their duty for a weekend of camping get kicked up automatically to third-strike status & led away in muddy handcuffs?

Then again, I live on a river now & have been out boating every day this week so ....

Oh dear, I almost hate to do this! But not really...
We ARE using our Airstream this weekend. Hooray!
This will be our first trip that is a real take-the-dogs-use-all-the-new-gear outing! We're heading down to the Carmel Valley area to enjoy what is supposedly going to a very warm and sunny weekend interlude before the next rain. We've only spent 3 nights camping since getting the trailer in Dec., and although fun, they had a real "test run" feel to them.
Can't wait, and will post some newbie photos when we get back. In the meantime, enjoy those winter wonderlands and stay warm. Spring will be gorgeous, right?

It's in the shop in Texas undergoing some mods, upgrades and minor repairs. Wish we were in the Keys instead of here in this cold Winter.

If you need an aluminum fix, it's not far from Venice to Malibu. There'll be 7 trailers and one moho full of good people, sharing good food, etc. from Friday to Monday. Feel free to come up and join us at Malibu RV Park. PCH and Corral Cyn. Ron

You could tow the flatbed, put a tent on top with a porta-potty.
