Why are we breaking records?

Why are we breaking records on members whom are on line - did something change or are we all between vacations? I would have never guess we would break the record two days in a row in the summer time...

Andy raised the time out period from 15 minutes to an hour.

I suspect it may also have been disabled or re-set...the last 'record', as I recall was October 2003 and I thought it was 290-something...

Not sure what time out means (at least in this case) - I assume it means that if I'm logged on and doing other things, it will automatically log me off after an hour? Always wondered about that

You got it. If you look at Who's Online you will see members whose last activity was well over the old 15 minute limit so we end up with a lot more "active" members at any given time.
