I wear the pants, and Julie said I could say so. Actually she wears pants too as she is a woodpecker biologist for the US Air Force and is definetly a woods woman.
I caught the bug last year when I first say Airstream One on eBay. I emailed my only other RV friend at the time and he said, "If you don't buy it I will."
Now I have lots more friends .... who keep coming up to my door in places around the Carolinas.
As I work from my AS it is all mine to work on, clean, modify....
Julie likes to camp in the MOHO and when we did Cycle North Carolina last year she was very greatful that I only did the hard part ( first 3 days in the mountains) and then followed the route each day working. She got to sleep in her own bed each night along the way.

I do but you all knew that...but he keeps insisting he likes it too, and works on it whenever he has time. In the meantime I do the small stuff (and some big stuff)

It might be me!

Oh, it started as him, turned to me and is now both of us. He wanted the big diesel motorhome and I wanted a silver trailer.

So we have the Airstream motohome, which I love. But, since then I have bought a '68 Tradewind and '67 Caravel. We are restoring the Tradewind for our son and the Caravel is mine. I can't wait to start the Caravel this winter. It will be 40 years old next year and should look "fabulous" for that celebration!

I do need the guys for most of the real work though! I am really a "helper" and now have riviting experience!

I guess I do...

I'm the one who got the "bee in the bonnet" to get an Airstream. Hubby went along with me, but he wouldn't have come up with the idea on his own.

Pants? What are pants? I'd better ask my wife...

Kim refers to our AS as my 'aluminum mistress' so I suppose I'm the guilty party

I guess it depends on what part of the trailer you are asking. For the outside or maintenance it would be me wearing the pants but when it comes to decorating, cleaning and "the look" that would fall to my wife. We looked at so many of them before buying the one we have that had I not done the dirty deed she'd of bought it anyways so if that counts then she would be the grand poobah for pants here. While I was buidling out the interior she let me do my thing with just a few suggestions - little did I know that late at night while I slept she must have been leaving subliminal messages in my brain. Life is good isn't it when you can't really tell which of you came up with the idea but both of you love it. I guess that's what happens after close to 40 years of living together.

I do all the towing, maintenance, modifications, and preparations, but the wife enjoys it every bit as much as I do. That's 50/50... right?
