I'd have to choose Ronnie Earl, although I have many fav's. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Carlos Santana, Susan Tedeschi, John Meyer...

This is a most awesome idea for a thread, by the way. I love listening to others' favorite artists!
Here's a two-fer: Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi.

I did a search and I think it was Robin Trower, maybe. Or I could look though those boxes of records I have been carting around for decades. Someday I'll have to transfer them to CD's, if CD's still exist.

Ac/dc
Angus Young is my hero! I can play about 40 of AC/DC's songs.
I play a Guild S-100 (like Slash of Guns and Roses) and a Fender all tube amp with 4 10" speakers.
If you can't peel the paint off the walls, it's not loud enough
Rock on!

All time favs Skip James and Memphis Minnie hands down! As for recent guitarists Gira during his last few years with Swans to his most recent album. It would be a sin not to mention Tom Waits -when he plays guitar I get goosebumps- and of course Leonard Cohen.
How do you post youtube videos?

The other Hendrix imitator of the time was Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush. I alway preferred Trower over Marino though...

I've been loving Big Sandy and the Fly-Rite Boys lately. Ashley Kingman is one the great retro guitarists playing today. Wonderful tone...
