Who else does this?

We're sitting in the driveway, about 20' from the front door and a very decent and cozy living room with a great fireplace and a nice big TV. But where are we? Kicked back in the Rollertoaster with four little pooches nestled into their fleece blanket on the sofa. We both have our feet up, leaning against comfy pillows, laptop and magazines and wine at hand on the dinette, and watching the evening news...Are we experiencing early terminal Aluminitis or does this eventually go away?

I have to laugh because last week I walked out to the trailer, layed down on the couch and went to sleep. It sure was nice and peaceful.

Nope

It isnt gettin any better....you will just be taking the next step, on the road every week even if you have no pre-determined destination, except for maybe back in your driveway after a couple of hours of cruisin.

That's funny Craig, and kind of reassuring because my husband does that regularly...puts a CD on, and he's out like a light!

If ours fit at the house, we'd be in it pretty regularly. And no, it doesn't go away. We are more addicted everytime we go out.

Wonderful! We have done the same. Though we love winter, it is very hard to wait out our chance to hang out in Ernestine. If you are lucky, the joy will not abate!

OK, We were just talking about how we're going to drive around the local countryside when we get our new TV (07 Tundra--the one we have now has been great, but not enough to tow with comfortably) and then come home! You almost make us feel "normal," heaven forbid.

It seems to only get worse...the more time I spend in it, the more time I want to spend it...the more I camp, the more I want to camp...the more rallies I go to, well...you get the idea...sigh.

We do the same. When Lucy comes home to be fitted out for a trip, we spend most of our time in her.

Hi, I like to do that too, but my trailer is parked sooooo close to my house that I can't get to the door, let alone open it. So I have to find an excuse to fix, modify, or measure something inside of my trailer so I need to pull it forward enough so I can get in it and leave it out for the weekend. I think once you catch Aluminitis, you're done.....................NO CURE.

Mine is socked away out in my shop so I go out there to do something on one of the cars and end up inside the trailer instead, reading a book, snoozing, listening to the radio, sipping a hot mug of tea and just feeling very comfortable. My late kitty used to join me and she loved it in the trailer so now and then when I'm feeling a tad melancholy about her passing I go out to the trailer and just sit and relax. Yep, I got it bad......

Add us to the list of those with a serious case of Aluminitis. We are preparing for our very first outing and we've packed and unpacked a thousand things. Hopefully, the second trip we will have a better idea of what we REALLY need and what we REALLY don't have to take with us. Seymour maybe right in our driveway but when we go inside and shut the door we feel like we're miles and miles away from everything. Why didn't we do this years ago?
