Stored, but ready to roll.

80 degrees yesterday and close to that today. Trailer is at the storage yard and is ready to roll to our unit Xmas rally nest week. A week after that is the Forum rally at Blanco State Park. If December is mild as is usual, I may get one more outing before the end of the year to a local state park.

First scheduled outing of the new year is the WBCCI IBY in El Paso in January, but we're not sure we'll make that one. Next is our unit Vintage rally in early February and we're co hosts for that one.

With the 30A power at the storage yard, I stop bythe trailer in the morning and turn on the heat pump, go into town and pick up my coffee and breakfast tacos, and return to a warm trailer for breakfast. Great time of year to do some of my interior mods in comfort,

Very nice artsy-fartsy Airstream picture. Why did you do that? The branches are covering most of the picture.

Kinda hard to get a full length shot around here without branches being in the picture

Here is one entitle "Rusty Tear" and One entitle "Ducks in a Row"

Sure wish we were Floridians right about now.

But there is something to be said about fresh snow in the country - just not the same as the horrible city slushy wet damp and cold weather. In the country it is crisp and the air is so nice a clear - the cold keeps you alive.....for a fleeting moment - until you have to haul in the wood for the fire ( another small moment of blis the first real winter fire) then reality again - warm up the butt before you have to fire up the snow blower.

Just debating on that issue right now - run the Yukon up and down the driveway to flatten the snow - or yank out the snow blower. My luck I'll spend 2 hours snow blowing and it will all melt by tomorrow - or if I don't we will get pummeled again and I will have twice as much to take care of...

Wow. The coldest weather I've ever been in is 8 degrees. My Airstream is currently basking in 70 degree weather with palm trees swaying around it. LOL.

Then again, it's 100+ degrees 24/7 for the nine months of summer we have here.

Nothing beats winter in Arizona ... that's why we keep coming back. High today ... 74. High tomorrow ... 76. High for Saturday ... 72.

My Argosy is sitting in a dry, warm pole barn where I won't see it again until Spring. Dang! winter is just too long....

My "Big Twinkie" is sitting right beside the house just waiting for me to come our and sit in him. It's about 60 here today and sunny. Was 78 yesterday. Want to go camping, but the trailer has been winterized. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Wow, it sure is cold there. I don't know how I could handle nights with less than 60 degrees. It was 79 here today, with a low of 66...I may have to crank up the furnace if this keeps up.

We are inside all toasty and warm in the KOA in Crossville, TN, returning from Hillsborough, NC. Just found out the KOA has WiFi. I love this modern technology.

Ken,
After shopping around in Phoenix for a spot, that's a great deal. I checked out one very nice area near my house that wanted $159 for a 24 X 10 foot covered spot. I could have hung the extra foot over the rear curb. The place where I store is just over $100 for a covered 40 X 12 spot, but is about 20 miles from home. Very clean, very secure and nice folks. Hows the NM site going?

I would see 100 - much more seems a bit high

Just this morning I was talking to my contractor about my pole barn - Its coming along - its basically built - seems like I've spent more time on this barn than I did for the whole house.......should be ready in a month or so - house ready in about two months...
