I am in Roswell helping a friend work some horses and have been driving through town twice a day and have noticed what I think is a small AS motorhome for sale. Going to stop and check it out just to satisfy my curiosity. Did not know they made one this small.

When I check it out will let youall know what I find. Perhaps it is one of those "millionaire owners" who have retired here.

Really bad wind has hit and the rvs are pulling over. A front has blown in from the East and meeting a cold front from the mountains. Suppose to snow tomorrow, won't be working horses very much, that's for sure.

after 9 hours on the road last Thursday, and a trip to chicago friday, we saw at least 75 SOB's on the road. Until that majic moment when we were headed home, far infront of us, the shine from a (assumingly brand new) a/s most likely being delivered.

It made me SOOO happy to see. I have the AIRSTREAM sticker on the back of my cab, and had to slow down and honk. What a sight!!!

That is quite a drive on hiway 1 at the big sur coast. Bet you were wore out after that. I have towed our AS a thousand miles and never saw another AS. Maybe they just slip by us like the way the Airstream slips through the air behind us while in tow.

slip by

Suppose so Tinsel Loaf. I did not see a AS in Oregon, saw a Bambi in the wine valley of CA. I think I saw an AS motorhome headed North but not certain All the way down to Pam Springs I could count on one hand the AS but zillions of SOBs.

did see two between Palm Springs and Tucson. Sure feel sorry for those pulling the others. They do not know what they are missing.

Love my El Mariposa

You said that you had an "Airstream" sticker on the back of your cab. Where did you get the sticker??? I would love to have one and I'm sure I'm not alone!

Talking Sticker...and stuff

My husband has the 'coolest' a/s sticker on his back (cab?) window. It's the chevy emblem with the word AIRSTREAM in the middle.
We get comments on it - even when we're not pulling our a/s.

About a/s sightings: we rarely ever see any. We about wrecked when we saw a Bambi on our way back from Florida. We were driving in the same direction, pulled off, and to our surprise...the couple followed us to the rest stop for a chat!
Aren't a/s owners awesome!!!!!

humor

To Ed & Debbie.
Loved your remark about the 20 yr old AS. My kind of weird sense of humor.

Where in N. Dallas do you live if you don't mind me asking?
