I've seen some nicer caravans from Germany out there, without the "sculpted velour" seats.
I was crying from laughing so loud at the backing sequences. Search "top gear" on youtube for more (list by ranking). The floating cars episode is equally funny.
I was curious if anyone had seen the new EU AS's at the factory. Apparently they make the shell and then ship it over to Europe for final fitting of the insides and chassis. Seems like an expensive way to do it. Anyone remember the Cadillac Allante or Chrysler Masarati(sp)? Simular business model... both failed.
The cassette toilets are interesting, water capacity if fairly nil. I do like the lighter is better idea though. Our newer AS's seem so bloated by vintage standards.... and even they could be made lighter with modern plastics or metals.
