That trailer is awesome.
Thanks m.hony,

We picked it up at their delivery facility in Henderson, NV and camped all the way back to Iowa then went on a trip to the "north shore" of Minnesota on Lake Superior. We used to have a 23' FB Int'l. Serenity that we sold when we saw the prototype of the Road Chief. We just love it and especially love the light weight, 2,300 lbs. dry. It is narrower and slightly lower in height than our 23' AS but just a tad longer. The light weight and narrower aspect make it a joy to tow. I can even use the rear view mirror to see past both sides of the trailer. The rear portholes allow me to see through the trailer while it is being towed! It does have less storage and smaller tanks than an AS but we can easily make that work. The cassette toilet is really good - I was a bit doubtful before actually using it but it is truly easy and no fuss.

What's Your Weather?

Turned off AC finally. Some cool nights with heater on past three but hope to have some days of open windows before new year. Haven't been able to do that since early April.

Aah, yes.....the Texas heat.

Drove kingfisher24 and his to the Pacific Northwest.

That fire in my earlier post has been going all day.

Hmmmm....methinks we have a wee bit of gloating going on here.

Actually, I am incredibly heat and humidity intolerant, so wouldn't live in AZ nor TX for love nor money.

As long as I am warm and things are functioning, cold is A-okay with me.

About the same weather here in Houston, Miserable.

Maggie, I am 100% with you on heat & humidity. I actually love winter, so the Iowa forecast is fine with me!

You need to bring that beautiful Bowlus to the Moraine View rally second weekend in June, John S.

You would need to keep a mop handy to clean up the drool, tho.

Hi Maggie,

Tell me more about the Moraine View rally. That might work for us and I'd love to meet you.

The second weekend in June, Moraine View State Park in Leroy, Il.

A great group of folks, and standard rally activities......hot dog roast on Friday night, open house Saturday afternoon, potluck Saturday evening, movie outside projected on the side of a trailer.....lots of visiting, a bit of discreet imbibing, campfires.

There is a group from northern Il and eastern IA that come every year. A lot of us come in on Thursday, many stay til Monday.

Also......the longest running Airforums rally....2015 will be 13 years, I believe. Jack Canavera runs it.

Watch the Forums and rally page, but most importantly get on Reserve America and make a reservation.

We would all love to meet you, too. Come on over.....and bring that Bowlus.

Thanks Maggie - I will definitely follow up on this. The Bowlus will definitely come with us - it's the only show in town for us.
