Today, at 3:00pm it’s 55 degrees which is unusually chilly in my part of FL, very cloudy and windy. I have been watching the weather for the upcoming week and it’s going to be crazy cold over much of the country. My heart goes out to those of you who are having to contend with brutal temps. Sending warm thoughts your way.

We're having a "canadian winter too" West coast style.
Right now it's 42.8 F with a bit of rain,going down to 33.8 F overnight.

Low 40's and cloudy most of the day. The sun's coming out now, just in time for maybe a pretty sunset. Forecast to get much colder starting tomorrow and lasting into next week.

Cold enough to curl the nose hairs when inhaling. Yesterday was a record -25*C That is about -13*F Add in the wind chill and you don't want any part of it. The car refused to start. Low battery. All fixed now. Hard to deal with stuff when the fingers don't want to work.

Yikes, Gerard.

We’re going to get gradually colder, and have a high of -1 here in a few days.

I got my car in the garage after a run to the grocery store this morning, where hopefully it will then start if I need it to...tho I don’t plan on going outside any time soon.

At this moment it's 17f and snowing hard. But, then 80 miles north of us they received six feet of snow in three days and where I went to college in upstate NY, during the same period their received almost eight feet of snow. After many years, it's a winter.

I hope you’re staying put til the weather breaks, Bud.

It is 10 degrees here, with a windchill of -4.

The good news is that the bitter cold made the snow we got yesterday very light and airy, so I think taking the leaf blower to it after awhile will clear my driveway.
