Vermont

Flew up to Burlington Vermont last week, went to Mad River Glen for 4 days of Skiing. So far that area of Vermont has had almost 6 feet of natural snow this year. They (MRG) should ski well into April if not May!!!
Got to enjoy over a foot of Vermont powder on my last day.

Sure do love those Maple donuts!!!

I'm still in exile in South Carolina. As usual, very little snow here all Winter. There were a few light flurries last week. Around the end of February, a friend back home in Central Colorado reported 45 feet so far, with the traditionally snowiest months of March & April yet to come. But that's down on the Divide, 1,700' below my place. I'm wondering if my old cabin willl even make an appearance this summer!

The North Fork of the South Arkansas River runs from there down through My Dear Ex's yard, and she says she hasn't seen the bridge in a while. Should be an interesting melt season!

Anyone know how much it would cost to ship a 25' Airstream to Hawaii??

I'd even consider UPS to get away from this weather!!

Wow! That's alot of snow! Even in Maine we don't have that much snow. Last weekend there was only a couple of inches on the ground.

With that much snow, you may not see your door until sometime in May.

Stop it! You are torturing us snow-locked New Englanders!

I would love to have a mowing chore right about now!

Same for us. Hopefully this weekend I can resume my yard cleanup activities that I started a few weeks back when the snow first disappeared.

I have to make a comment on my trip to the Bridgton, Maine yesterday and the amount of snow that this still there. I saw huge piles of plowed snow (10 feet high!) that has frozen solid and looks like it will be there another month at least.

I drove through Denmark Maine and the roads are severely frost heaved and had to slow to almost a stop so as not to go airborne. (too late)

Southern Maine shows signs of spring in the last few days

but one hour north it's just depressing..........

Snow Queen.......... wave your magic wand and make it go away!

This was taken this morning from the front door - it's no longer snow, it's mostly ice by this point in time. The deck is 4 steps up so it's more depressing than it looks...
