Ha, I'll bet they do go very fast but only for a short amount of time

Argosy 20 & FF...Terry?
IS THERE AN ECHO IN HERE? What's up with the double posts? It's ok...I'm just envisioning 2 people at 2 'puters, saying the same things...LOL

GWEN...THANK YOU...Yes I 'did' paint it...But, I'm not done with it...There's a Tucan bird at the bottom, that doesn't show enough. I work on it in the spring time... 2 years now...so this next Spring, I'm sure I'll finish it. The inside has a lot of my artistic touches too. I'm trying to put an album together. Anyhow...thank you.

Re: The Flamingos... Terry...well,,,we'll just keep all the dam birds away from the likes of you! THAT's what! You just get on with your toy trains...no problemo.
Except, your train is your hobby...and my Flamingos are far from a hobby...just some of the other trappings...or flora...making more 'eye candy' for me---and anyone else who needs it.
As they say,,,"If it don't fit,,,don't force it."

Cat, for some reason, when I enter a quote, I don't get the little arrows or anything to show it is a quote, so it looks like I am repeating what was said before. It hasn't seemed a big deal to me, I have just dealt with it. Like the power company says when the electricity has been off for four days, "We apologize for any inconvenience."

Try this...

Type [-quote-] at the beginning and [-/quote-] at the end leaving out all the "-"'s. That ought to work...

The other option is to click on the quote button at the bottom of the post you wish to quote. It will open the reply window with the prior post quoted. You just delete the sections you are not referencing

....and I thought that the flamingos (pink) were just a Floridian thing.....learn somethin' new everyday!

Hey and JohnHD, with those Millers, isn't it pink elephants rather than flamingos?

they are of the guard variety!

i put them under the awning arms to guard me from walking into the arms after a "couple" of beverages!

their bark is worse than their bite fer sure!

Well, I was hopeful that the Dometic in the new coach could handle some quantity. Glad to hear the larger fridges can take care of business! The new coach has a 6 cubic foot fridge/freezer. The Bambi has a 4 cubic foot but it's a fridge/freezer combo. I figured at some point the real reason I ordered the Safari would come out.....mans has gotta have priorities!

That is a total classic flamingo shot and it's just so John!

Now if only the flamingo was on a Harley with the existing background....the set would be complete!

Thumbs up Bowling with Pink Flamingos

Hey, John!

Looking at the photo anew... it appears that someone is bowling and that the flamingos are the pins!

Gotta love those road torch balls!

"Gotta love those road torch balls! "

roger

they keep the bugs away!

gave up on the citrenella, and went for fuel oil!!

53,

don't know what i would trade, whatcha got?

the four of them are kinda a matched set! i would hate to split them up!

eric,

i'm thinking about getting a couple strings of blue "rope" lights to make a runway for latenight re entrys with the harley easier! that, or get more road torches.

Stop this posting! It just makes me want to order a couple of those pink flamingos and I know I shouldn't.

But I think I will go to the fridge and have a beer.
