I need a new trunk bag for the rear too. I don't want to install a new rack for that quick release. Anybody see anything cool? It's to carry my camera, my leftovers from lunch and a light jacket.

Believe it or not, the last one is the most comfortable.

I can try to find one like that maybe a tad shorter. At 5'2" and proportionately short legs at that, and the smallest woman's frame I could find 17 "? I still get hung up on the seat to dismount. I think its as far back as it goes. If I tilt it too far downward I slip off. There is not a lot of space between the front of the seat and the head set and bar, think the little people and having their itty bitty arms reach. Also think UPRIGHT as in circus bear. It's a very small diamond, one of the reasons I selected it. It's an old Schwinn Essence, before that I had a 10 speed Raleigh Mixtee. Actually I have had alot of bikes but these two were my favorites. I have a street Raliegh in the basement a Trek folder in the burb, the Essence in the garage and my husband is riding my old John Wayne sized bike from some year end clearance, but I have had several of those bikes too big for me! HA! I'm a good jumper and tippie toer. Course the times you miss a fast dismount on a too big boyz bike, YEOW!

Bikes.. there are so many out there! Trek and Specialized make some women's specific design bikes.... how much do you want to spend? Frame size... I'm 5'5".. and use a 15" frame ....
Even REI has some good frames / bikes at decent prices. I'd think you want a 13" or so frame. My daughter just got a great 24" wheeled Diamond Back mtb that works well (I ride it for kicks!). You might be more comfortable on something like that.

Another thought (duh! I've got one!). Is something slightly unusual... but how about a folding bike? They have smaller 20" wheels, but are easy to mount, and super (SUPER) adjustable. The seats on the Dahons are very comfortable as well.

The reason I love my Dahon - I laugh outloud everytime I ride it... it's very easy to ride and balance on, I surprise "big wheeled" bikes with my speed.. they work very well. Did I say adjustable? My 5' 0 daughter learned to ride on one... it also worked for my 6' nephew when he visited (although a bit cramped for him)... but his legs fit well.
Easy to fold and stick in the car.. means you'll take it more places with you.
Here's my bike (about $350 from Performance a year ago).

Again, the seat is pretty comfy!

Terry makes the best women's seats for recreational riders.
You would probably faint if you saw my seat.

Here is a link to some seat ideas, Carol. I particularly like the Ayatollah seat with the puckered lips.

Bike seat.
Hi, this is what I use; I call it an old person's bike seat. Wal-Mart $20.00 to $25.00 for male or female.
