Our main hobby are the street legal dual sport motorcycles. They go well in the truck pulling the Argosy. Anyone else on this list ride dual sport motorcycles? I know there are other tractor people here.

1915 - 1940 PREWAR toy trains
If I'm not spending my money on aluminum I spend it on TIN. 1915 - 1940 PREWAR toy trains. York, PA next week for the TCA toy train show.

Walt Disney World...6.5 hours from our home. We go three times a year minimum. Christmas break, spring break and once during the summer or fall and collect most anything Disney.

Too many com-poot-ers!
5 Palms, 1 Sony Clie, and 4 Pocket PCs. 2 ThinkPads, 1 Windows Smartphone, 1 Treo smart phone, and 1 Media Center PC/TV.
(I know it's excessive, but all the wall chargers keep me warm.)
And horrors, I have a truck that needs all sorts of goodies, and I've recently inherited a 1953 Pontiac Chieftain Deluxe (straight-eight, Hydromatic) and a 1993 Lincoln Mk-7 LSC. And somewhere around the edges is a 1975 Chevy "Big 10" 454 old monster that needs restoration.
I don't need ANYTHING MORE to spend money on!

What else do you spend your money on?
Greetings!
My Vintage Airstreams share the "garage" with my collector cars -- three of the collector cars are also equipped to act as tow vehicles:
1965 Dodge Coronet 500 Convertible (nick-named Miss Jane as it is identical to one that Miss Jane Hathoway drove on the Beverly Hillbillies -- except mine is blue rather than red). (The Nomad was my first RV purchased new, but it has long since been recycled).
1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. This car has successfully towed both my '64 Overlander and '78 Minuet -- if only its wheel problems could be successfully solved.
I realized that the other "members" of my collector car family don't have photos -- 1960 Studebaker Lark VIII Convertible (Jonquil Yellow with black interior), 1984 Cadillac Eldorad Biarritz Convertible (Sapphire Blue with white leather), and 1985 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal Brougham Luxury Sedan (ordered new by my mother with all options except sunroof).

Leftover Money??
I disagree with concept of Leftover Money, unless you're no longer with us.. Until then, it's just money you haven't found the proper use for.. In our case, it is not so hard... There's the Airplane (Three years from 50, still current technology IFR), the Motorcycle (GL-1000: State of the Art Japan 1976) and the '66 Corvair Monza Convtble (at least the Engine is Aluminum...). Without these, I might be forced to upgrade to new mega-Tow Vehicle and a larger, heavier, cooler new trailer... Sigh..

Railroad Paraphernalia
There are some other Model Railroaders out here. They know how it starts.
First it's brass locomotives and cars. Then, before you know it, you've gone to a train show. You think a couple of time tables and post cards won't be a problem. "You can handle it".
But no, you go again. That lantern looks nice. It's the railroad I model. It will look good, somewhere.
By now you can't stop. Spike mauls and lifters. Look! Telegraph stuff! Cast Iron Crossbucks! And a Bell for on top!! I CAN MAKE IT WORK!!!
I NEED A SWITCHSTAND WITH TARGETS!!!!!!!!
Whew... Good thing I ran across this Airstream. Need a place to calm down, relax and "center".
I think I need new counter tops. And new tail lights, rebuild the...........
Tom.

Wellllll, as soon as I finish the Airstream work, I'm turning back to my MGB. It won't tow an Airstream; it won't be towed, either; and it gets pretty poor mileage. But it sure is fun to drive here in the mountains!

A Harley Road King (his) and Harley Sportster (hers, but he rides it to work for the 50 mpg of 87 octane), a 15' Boston Whaler skiff, and last summer (after which we decided we had more toys than we can take care of and sold it), a 26' MacGregor sailboat. She also has her sewing and quilting, and I have my notebook computer, where my latest hobby is watching and recording HDTV and DVDs on it. We've reached the point where we realize there IS such a thing as too many toys, when they require maintenance, insurance, and a place to store them.

Uwe, love the Mercedes! My grandfather gave my dad his 1959 220S in 1968 and I'll never forget me and my dad flying to Toronto to drive it back to our home in Alberta.
My money goes into my gardening and will be going into the new home I'm designing for myself (I've not gotten around to building a model of it yet). I also like my British motorbikes. Sadly, I no longer have my 1966 Triumph Tiger but I do have one of their "new" Bonnevilles...the buggers have gone and put the shifter on the wrong side!

The 59 is a very sweet old ride. It feels great on the road, and has that "royal" tall feel inside. The view over the hood from the driver seat is also very pleasing.

WHAT a great thread!
Hello all -
Haven't yet seen a mention for ..... Pinball machines.
We ALL played 'em, whacked 'em, dumped those quarters in....
Have had loads and made several '3 into 1' efforts along the way.
Current docket includes:
1978 Bally "Supersonic" - My 1st pinball. Will never sell it. #6 condition.
1980 Gottlieb "BlackHole" - Widebody - '3 into 1' effort - #8 condition
1980 EM Bally "Night Rider" - Great 2 owner machine - # 8/9 condition
1995 Bally "Theatre of Magic" - Absolutely AWESOME machine - # 9 condition
Have owned several other machines including a 1970 Gottlieb "Baseball" that I WISH I had back. Sold it for a BIG profit after owning it for only about a week. GREAT hobby that really dovetails nicely with AS ownership.
Money to be made - if you want it - increasing values - "Hey, I played that..." fun, and well just a good time all around.
Have loads of $ in model trains also. OLD HO and some N scale stuff. Need to get the room to get back into that stuff... Oh well, AS'ing for now!
Have fun out there and keep those " I spend $ on...." themes coming!
Ciao
Axel

Well currently our spare cash is going into my wife's bridal business, but I hope that turns around in the near future so I can contemplate an early retirement My personal allowance is spent on bicycles and truck parts (96 F350 dually, 1952 Chevy 1.5t). We have tractors but they are working tractors Current herd includes a JD 2020, IH Super A, M-F 35 and a Ford Silver Jubilee. I also have some N-scale trains and just discovered the DCC stuff
