Our Airstream got a new Cyclo Polisher, and his happy father got a subscription to Airstream Life... I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas as well... Maybe one day soon, you will se our POLISHED Airstream out of the driveway and on the road!!! (Maybe I just need to work on finishing the renovation first...)

On my way home I saw one of these on the back of a van - oh how I wish my tow vehicle had gotten one of these for Christmas!

Gotta be careful here !!!!!

Hi all -

SilverToy and I got a set of the "Trailer Light set" - from my sister-in-law! Slowly getting them all over to my way of thinking....!!!!

I gotta be careful though, if SilverToy finds out that this thread exists, and what all you folks got for your AS's, she is liable to think I don't love her! Oh the horror. Then she'll be a real bear to deal with.... I shudder to think!

Better clear this thread away lest it shows up in the 'history'....

See ya!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!!!!

Axel

I am not certain if this is for Chummy or not. Chummy gets so much during the year I noticed that the stacks of presents under the tree were a little slim this year! However, I did get an original 1982 magazine advertisement for the 28' Turbo Diesel, complete with a coupon to send in to Airstream for more information.

Our 63 Overlander will be getting an "assnoplasty" for Christmas, which includes new steel frames and floor in the bath and a re-finished fiberglass tub, new formica vanity top, aluminum sheeting for the shower walls (Thanks to DIY's Kevin Tetz for that idea!), and the all important repaired poop-chute. Hubby is out welding today...szzzzzt pop crackle szzzzzt!

My baby is going home on Dec 28. We'll drop her off in Jackson Center to take advantage of winter pricing for a few things I want checked/repaired. This works out well for us as we are planning on picking up the trailer on our way to Florida in April.

Spoiled Buttercup...

Continuing the less-than-a-year renovation with a new stainless range. Ordered it from Airstream and it should arrive this week. It's the same model that is in the new TTs.

Ordering it was the easy part... Tim will have the hard part of putting it in!

{He's expecting this will be a no-less-than 16 cuss-word project...

"Airstream Living", a set of elegant unbreakable Lexan wine glasses, and my daughter gave the AS this cool gadget that screws onto the kitchen faucet that casts a stream of blue light (LED) through the water while the water is turned on. I have no idea where she found it, but she shares her dad's fascination with lights. I can't wait to de-winterize so I can use it.

Happy Holidays!

Even though I only purchased the 'Toaster' a couple of weeks ago , It has a laundry list of new goodies waiting to be installed. An RV-500 tankless on-demand water heater , 2 Maxx-Fan automatic fans with the new aero covers, a new cooktop and Corian counter (anyone want to buy a new 3 burner stove/oven/broiler combo?), a new microwave-convection oven and a water filter system. The twin 55 watt solar panels/battery charging system should be here in a week or so.

And this is just the beginning! Wait 'till I really start on the interior (LOL!).

Alas, Betsy got nothing from me, but her owner got a Lowe's gift card from his sister and brother-in-law, and guess who/what will benefit from that? Besides, he personally has a new Fantastic Fan that he has not formally presented to her yet, and, yes, a chalking gun tube of Vulkem, but it's not even called that anymore.
