Hubby decided to put the Cyclo to work today. No... Not on the Airstream he decided to compound and wax the tow vehicle. It looks awesome. I am one lucky girl.

Ms. Niche...thanks for sharing, you should post a pic of the tow vehicle... I would like to see it. Our Airstream was painted 20 year ago...or so. We're not sure what we're going to do about the crappy paint job. Still working on the interior.

I winterized our new 27FB for the first time. Laying in the snow. In the Ft. Collins KOA this morning, it was 17 deg. It was 40 deg inside the trailer, because the batteries died last night. So the furnace doesn't run when the batteries died. I hooked up the tow vehicle to the trailer and we ran on diesel for the next few hours. What a shakedown cruise.
Got photos.

Ft. Collins KOA, I can relate to that. This is from October 2009, but we had full hookups...

NBC national news was saying that the weather went from mid 80's to snow in three days... wow, still in the mid 70 here in NorCal for another week or so. Good luck getting home...is it still snowing there?

That's a great idea Bob... let us know if it works. Looks like it will.

Commercial campground without electrical hookups? What's the point in that?

EDIT: Ah, I see in another thread... they're SUPPOSED to have power but there was an outage. How long was the outage? Is the furnace really THAT power-hungry?

Today I spent an hour waiting on a Canadian General to show up for a briefing. When he arrived and they started the briefing, I was looking at Airforums on my phone. Then when I finished for the day I came home to work on Abby for a few hours. It is cold in Texas this evening. That's why there is a fire in the fireplace!

Hey TOP... Hope you don't call him a "Hoser" for being late, that could get you a really Early Retirement...

Speaking of Early Retirement, here is a forum that you may want to take a look at. It's called "Early Retirement & Financial Independence Commuity", here's the web site: Early Retirement & Financial Independence Community

PS they also have a thread called "What did you do today?" over 8,000 replies!
