So, so true.
We consider it one of the greatest joys and privileges of our lives to be able to have our grandchildren with us, at our home or on the road. They seem to feel the same way.
Happy to come stay with us at any time, absolutely
beside themselves at going with us
anywhere in the Interstate.
Road trips are becoming longer and more frequent as they get older.
It also gives those parents a welcome break from the demands of full time parenting, but we never think of it as "babysitting".
Pure, unadulterated joy.
