What are you watching?

Just stumbled across a “what are you reading” thread and couldn’t help including the complete Columbo series on DVD:

https://www.amazon.com/Columbo-Compl.../dp/B008RJ6TTC

Obviously not a book. And we don’t camp to watch TV. But if it’s a rainfest outside or at the end of a sunny day of hiking and enjoying the campfire, sometimes there’s nothing like binging a series to end the evening.

So what are you watching on DVD?

Other faves of ours included:

The Sopranos (which we never saw when it first aired and only saw in the trailer on DVD).
https://www.amazon.com/Sopranos-The-.../dp/B07N3XYKMD

Mad Men - too many good features to describe!
https://www.amazon.com/Mad-Men-Compl.../dp/B013BPR7OC

Breaking Bad - when I realized my sympathy was with an evil man, I began questioning my entire life...There’s a version of this series sold in a barrel - if you’ve seen the series you know why. If you’re squeamish in the list, this isn’t for you.
https://www.amazon.com/Breaking-Bad-.../dp/B00I9MS86O

Any version of Johnny Carson DVD sets - the best - period!

What are you watching?

We bring "Movies To Fall Asleep By". DVD's we've seen a million times that just play in the background to pass the time during that 30 minutes to an hour time when we're unwinding, brushing our teeth, and getting ready to fall asleep.

We recently watched The Godfather series on a cool rainy day. It was fun. Also found a real good "time line" for the movie published by some university film dept.. it's pretty cool, helps you understand the series better, who's who and what's what, and when events take place.

Really like the original Hawaii Five-O DVD series that I get at the library.

Even put together a Five-O cocktail party years ago. Book 'em Danno....this was just too kitchy!

Binge watching Donton Abbey with The BBC’s Poirot to keep the 1920-1930’s theme going...

The Long Trailer. Whoever wrote the script definitely owned a trailer! Funny!

And +1 for old Hawaii 50 episodes. Get the DVD box set.

We are watching all 20 seasons of Midsomer Murders for the second time. Just finished all seasons of Criminal Minds. We have watched all past seasons of Peaky Blinders, but have only watched 2 of the current season. I think our sensibilities for violence has changed.
