Finishing a biography of Hank Williams and an academic dissection of the origins of Bluegrass music (2 separate books). I'll then be starting a re-read of 'David Copperfield' for our monthly book club.

Bill Bryson's "The Lost Continent". A bit our of date but excellent for a non-native of the Lost Continent, especially when think of camping trips, past and present.

Just finished "Thank You Marco Polo". The book was written by McGregor Smith, who was the corporate-hired public relations guy on the Around the World Caravan.

Not bad, but seemed to kinda skim the surface.

Okay, I'm about to commit blasphemy but I hate the new JFK Rowling book (Casual Vacancy) after the first 100 pages I indeed have a vancant look in my eyes and it has the honor of being the first book in the last decade that I put down never to finish.

REDNAX - I just picked up "Postwar: A History of Europe Since 1945" (along with a few others) as an audiobook. (My new job entails a 40 mile commute.)
Currently reading; "Rabid: A Social History of the Worlds Most Diabolical Virus" by Bill Wasik & Monica Murphy. It's a history of rabies.
