Finally had this happen to me today... loading for my trip a guy drives buy and yells "wanna sell your airstream?". I said Naw - really love her. THEN I rememberd what another forum member said ... anything is for sale - for the right price!! Oh well.

If you don't have an Imperial Guard Dog.....

The simple solution to keep people from disturbing your peace, by asking
if your trailer is for sale....is to put a for sale sign on the trailer.

FOR SALE $82,000 FIRM - NO EARLY BIRDS

My DW went up a house where we had seen an Airstream and asked is it for sale and they said sure they hadn't used it in 2 years. We bought it on the spot.

This is a great idea! While our trailer isn't for sale - it could be for the right price. Great solution!

We live on a busy road, kinda rural, with a side street next too us that goes to an industrial area. Our trailer is only 75 feet off the main road and 30 feet off the side street,so its on a corner and we get that all the time. IS IT FOR SALE??? and I say SURE Got 20GRAND.ITS and antique ya know!
That usually ends the conversation.
We also have couple locks and pin locks.

I had a guy stop in the street the day before yesterday. I was outside puttering on the AS. I asked him if I could help him (thought he was lost or something). "I just had to stop to admire the beautiful trailer. I hope I didn't offend you," he said. I told him of course he didn't offend me. That's why it looks like it does....to be a thing of beauty. And if someone wants to buy it, like the others said, it would have to be a BIG buck!
