We're lucky!

About 15 minutes ago, Steve and I had an idea!..(we get those once every month or so) to go check the a/s water tank!..it's been freezing here in the morning the last couple of days in Sacramento..so he drained the water tank..we didn't want to start our trip down to the 29 Palms, then be surprised by a cracked tank or broken pipe...not a good way to start a rally

I keep my water tank empty when we are not camping. I do not worry about the freeze problem here in Phoenix. With the high tempertures alge can start to grow in the tank if it sits for too long. At the end of a camping trip, I open the drain valve on the tank and leave it open.
