Have you found the thread from last winter on this topic? There are several good ideas there for potluck dishes.

Potluck Successes

or you might try:

Good luck with your research!

"Beer in The Rear Chicken"

Well,....Since no-one's gonna provide any new recipes,.....and just let me starve.......

I decided I'd try my hand at cooking up alittle "Beer-in-the-Rear" Chicken.

The plan, was to get up early and get the grill all fired up and ready to go.
I over-slept alittle bit, but still managed to get up and get started around the "Crack of Noon" .

I had alittle Headache left-over from the night before,,,,I thought maybe I had better go with a liquid breakfast. I cracked open a Miller Lite ( I'm on a Diet). You know how that first half of a Cold Beer tastes Great, but the second half isn't as good ?? I figure it's because the beer warms up too much....Sooooo, I get this idea,...I get out the 'Ol Blender and crush up some ice and make an ice-water slush to hold the cans while I'm "work'in" on 'em.... Actually,...It works pretty Good.....

I put some rub on my chickens, and insert a beer can about half-full of beer, up their Hiney....or maybe it was half-way up their hiney,..I forget.

How will the Chickens turn out ? Will they be done in time ? Will I pass out before they are done ?

Stay Tuned, Boy's and Girls......

Hey Rick, couldn't see going into work today huh?! Is this a trial run for our rally this weekend? Sounds like a good one!
