Weirdest auction with "Airstream" in it's title - ever.
Is this another, more disturbing trait we Airstreamers all share?
Here ya go!

Actually, this is the coolest thing I think I have ever seen in my entire life!!!
Probably just needs an oil change and about a fifty gallon drum of Walbernize. This just might be the missing link of campers. Maybe they will find Jimmy Hoffa somewhere in there. Maybe this started out as a con-joined camper, or the earliest experiments with stem cell research, or cloneing.
This is the camper they should have given those two block heads, Paris and Nicole.
I think that Tin Can Luv oughta own this one! Ron. Tony. Where the hell are you?

Funny you should ask.
Jonathan, just before I read that you think we should have this (which actually it's perfect for my dad, he'll have to see it.....) I was thinking that the perfect addition to this jewel is a levinator (Isn't that what it's called?)..
Let's go in together!!!!!!!!LOL

Yeah, nothing like a driveshaft tunnel down the center of your camper. Rules out the Pergo deal.

I think you're missing the real significance of this fine vehicle... that's quite a steal!
This pristeen, lone example of the oft-overlooked Chevy/Airstream-knockoff collaboration in the 1950's, is actually well respected in both the automotive and film industries.
Just take a look at this still from "Frankenstein Goes on a Date." The filmmakers are attempting to make the high-foreheaded monster look more human by giving him a nifty, high-foreheaded cruiser in which to pick up girls and take them to the local pond...
More like Frankenstud, eh? Quite a sexy ride, once you get over the fact that it's completely ugly. Like Benicio Del Toro, am I right ladies?

Excellent research, Brad. Just to collaborate further: if you zoom in closely on the eBay photos, you can clearly see that the vehicle has Transylvania plates.

Actually, it did not spend its entire life in Berkely as the seller stated... I found this old photo that sure looks like the ad.

The photo by the pyramid is for sure an implant.........Shadow is incorrect to the rest of the shadows in the picture. Looks like the sun was more overhead for the shadow of the ugly car/camper as opposed to the longated shadows by the AS's
Don't know if this thing ever made it in the movies, but it's ugly and I wouldn't give anything but play money for it. IMHO...........................................
