Where the carny workers parked at the 2007 MN state fair I saw a flatbed semi trailer with a 31' Airstream body (no axles) attached. Necessity is the mother of invention I guess. But watch out for that lo-o-ong first step!

You'd need a ten foot step ladder to work the awning. Maybe it could double as the way to get in and out of the trailer too. Now where are you going to carry that? Couldn't put it on top. You'd need another ladder.

Putting out the awnings would be an adventure as well.

Brads post gave me some Tarzan ideas about the awning and getting into the trailer. Kids would love it!

that would be really cool with a slide for an exit!

now that's a rig that REALLY tows like nothing is back there!

no problems getting the black tank to suck itself dry when dumping.

kinda hard to drop the belly pans.

say lew, how's you like to service that ac, i guess it isn't much higher than most of the coaches you work on.

My husband would have loved that peterbilt. It combines the travel modes he liked best. He always said that his hearts desire was to follow the white line and spend every night in a different place. He loved his peterbilt trucks and drove them many years before he retired. After we retired we were able to travel a lot and enjoyed every minute we were on the road. ( I can just hear him saying I want it, I want it now)
