Virginia Highland Haven - On the Road Again

Had hoped to be up there last weekend, but my partner went out of town, and won't be back until tomorrow. So bright and early I'm off to the mountains. Virginia Highland Haven is located near Roanoke and Blacksburg.

I'll have my laptop but between apple picking, antique hunting, and a few good cosmopolitans, I may not check back in until Monday.

Anyone in the area, drop in and visit. The hostess told me there are plenty of open spaces and the leaves are starting to turn. They claim there are no mosquitos which will be a real blessing. We are overwhelmed with them here in Virginia Beach since Eduardo.

Ciao... and Happy Trailers to you until we meet again...

Paula

Paula - We were there in June and had a great night! That's all the time we had!

You might check on the road conditions. As we were driving up from Floyd, there were 2 bridges under construction with VERY narrow passing - 1 lane only and it was only 8.5 feet wide.

Have fun!
