Vacuum Cleaner for Airstream

Just picked up my new Airstream vacuum cleaner at the dump.

It is a Royal 501! The Rolls Royce of vacum cleaners. It is hand held unit with a hose and beater bar. The local vacum pro-guy said I hit the lottery. I agree.

They are no longer made, the Chinese bought the company.

Hi Rob,

Sounds like a great find. We have been using a Roomba vacuum for our 71 Safari. It's a robotic vacuum that works on a rechargeable battery and does a great job getting all aroung the rig and does a great job with pet hair. We plug the recharger into the plug at the top of the rear side closet and the Roomba is always charged and ready to go. We bought ours from Sharper Image.
