USS Arizona Memorial Flag

Anyone interested in a 4' x 6' American flag, that flew over the Arizona Memorial, on Dec 7th, 2006?

Comes with a certification and certificate of authenticity.

Andy

Andy-

A very nice item for the right person. Since this was the last gathering of the survivors I am sure it will have a special meaning for one of our vets. Having flown F-14's for the Navy I can truely understand the significance of this flag. I do hope you find someone deserving to give the flag to!

Just curious, why are you parting with it?

i would be honored to fly it over my trailer or at my house.

however, i think a veteran should get first dibs.

I visited the Arizona Memorial the first trip out, on January 28th, 2007 where WW2 started. I also visited the Battleship Missouri, the same morning, where WW2 ended.

The escaping oil at this point is far more than a drop here or there.

I am a member of the Arizona Memorial Museum Association.

I always visit the store as well.

To my surprise, I saw a couple of flags that were flown on December 7th, 2006, one flown at 1843 and the other at 1845.

I must offer my apology, in that the flags are 3' x 5', not the 4' x 6' as I stated above.

I have one for myself and thought if someone would like to have one, I would be happy to sell it.

I also have a couple of extra 65th Arizona Memorial Anniversary Medallions, that are 24 K gold plated and silver that has a fineness of .999

They weigh 1 Troy ounce and the diameter is 39.25, and is encapsulated in a protective plastic and has a beautiful case, and has it's registration number with it. It has a photo of the ship on one side and the other side has a photo of the Memorial.

I will post a photo of them when I return home.

If someone is interested in these, please make an offer.

Andy

I have clarified some issues with Andy. This has taken overnight since he's gotten as far away from Airstreams as he can and still stay in the U.S. Although member dijer lives in Hawai`i with his 19' Safari!

Andy is making an offer to share access to one flag and something to do with medallions. Here is what he says:

Some appreciative person can have them at my cost plus shipping.

I am trying to bring bring some old history to the front lines.
So please post to this thread if you are interested.
