Mel, are you there? I love your Washington State embroidered tea towel, and yes, two years later, I'm still thinking about this project. (Note: thinking, not yet doing!) You are probably an accomplished needleworker, but I am not. Did you follow any particular stitchery when doing the towel? I notice some areas are "broad" while others are more like lines or tracery. How did you determine embroidery stitches to use, to cover the larger areas neatly? I think I can figure out the lines and smaller areas, but I'm hesitant to begin and mess up the areas with more stitching required. What did you do? Thanks for sharing, if you don't mind! ~G
