Talking Unusual hazard

Well I think all of us that have recently purchased an Airstream have come across a plethera of warning stickers, everything from death and injury from the fresh water tank, cancer causing materials says California, open the stove cover before using the burners, and my favorite irony is the sticker that says only use mild soap and water for cleaning and that one is the sole sticker attached that will not remove with soap and water.

But here is yet another hazard that may have escaped your attention that Airstream is cautious enough to warn us of and that is the danger of falling men. Yup, it's raining men here in Michigan and Ohio! So with clouds in the sky I turned my eyes anxiously upward but darn it all, the only thing that fell today was rain. (Think that is a quality control issue?) I think they were just joking. What do you think?

Gee, a gender-specific warning? What were they thinking? Stand on the vent, and you may fall through. It could be raining women, too.

Dare I tell this tale? No offense intended.
Long long ago while in college (& under the influence, I think) I once call the Salvation Army and ask if they could save me two fallen women for the weekend.
But I only tried it once and never followed through—Honest, Scouts’ Honor.

I myself suspect it does mean don't step on the plastic, easily breakable,
you will be injured badly ,and in a bad spot .......ouch, and by penalty of death,NEVER remove that warning tag from your mattress ,or they will
find you ,but when.......????????

DOH! I swear I looked for that with several searches! Course now I doublechecked it and voila I found it. I did want it to go there. That's my story and I am sticking with it, honest officer moderator.

Safe harbor I think you are correct about that. But this is what gets me about symbol signs. Should I go into the restroom that has the picture of pants when I am wearing jeans or do I go into the one with a skirt though that graphic does not typlify my attire?

And isn't it politically incorrect in this day to post signs that children are slow?

And it just finally occurred to me on my trip to Oregon that the sign for Watch for Falling Rocks means I should be looking for loose rocks on the road and not looking up.

Of course people who know me would call that a "Carolism." I make many of them you see. Such as when as a newlywed my mother-in-law shared her recipe for pigs in the blanket. When I came across the direction to add water to cover, I thought how peculiar. It would be so much easier to add the water directly to the pot instead.

JStanley, I love your confession, that is too funny.

AZflycaster that is great!

Scott if I fell through I could make a hatch like Wally had.

That cow falling of the cliff is a crackup !! how about the sign that says
loose gravel ? Isn't gravel already loose!? That is why it is called gravel !
I crack myself up sometimes !!
