Talking True story ~ It happened today!!

The folks next to me leave their small barking dog in their trailer alone while they go off for the afternoon. I've asked them very nicely three times(or 5 days), if they could help out with the all afternoon barking. They always said sure, but never have.

So today when I got home from playing golf, the dog was barking and I called the park manager over so he could hear it and then speak with its owners.

When he spoke with them this early evening the conversation went like this:

"I got a complaint about your dog barking while you are gone and we have a rule that dogs are not to be left unattended."
The owner said, " the dog only barks when we arrive home because he hears our truck pulling in." The manager said, "no, I heard him myself." She said, " that's impossible because we never hear him bark while we're gone!"

You got to love humanity!!!!

Obviously must be someone else's dog barking. Maybe their dog invites a few freinds over while the owners away. Could be some freinds stopping in for a quick game of cards!

Some folks just can not accept the fact that they are in the wrong, and it seems impossible for anyone to convince them of reality.
Hope they got miffed and left.

...or maybe their dog has one of those audible "dog barking" burglar alarm systems that he plays while napping all afternoon. Bad doggy!

Some people have a lot of nerve, and I think you ran into their ring leader.

Does anyone hear it?

Is that like that old question:

If a tree falls in the forest and there's no one to hear it, does it make a sound?

John -

I think my wife and I were camped on the other side of those same people.

Makes a fellow feel pretty sorry for the dog who's got to live with them.
