Triumph Car Show in Phoenixville, PA July 20th!

Hi everyone!

Just a heads-up for those of you who may be interested: The Vintage Triumph Register is having their national convention next week in Valley Forge and the Concours d'Elegance car show will be on Friday. It is free and open to the public, and you will be able to see some beautifully restored Triumphs, from the pre-war Southern Cross to rumble-seat Roadsters, TR2s to TR8s, Mayflowers to Spitfires/GT6s. Here is what they say about it:

"Close to 300 Triumph British sports cars and 500+ people will be 'invading' Phoenixville on Friday, July 20th, from 10:00am until 3:00pm for the Vintage Triumph Register 2007 National Convention.
On Bridge Street and Main Street in downtown Phoenixville."

We will be driving from Arkansas in our 310 towing our green Spitfire, Elliott. Wave if you see us! We will be staying at French Creek State Park, but the activities center around the Valley Forge area. Here is the main page of the convention if you are interested: VTR 2007 - Welcome

We hope to see you there! Ask for Brad and Susan and someone will know who/where we are!

Susan

PS - Here's Elliott in Car and Driver Magazine a few years ago. Whee!

I wish I were there. I have owned a TR-4 with a Borge Warner OD, and a TR-3 small mouth I still have a 58 MGA 1500. I am trying to get the TR-3 Small mouth back which would make me the 3rd and 5th owner.

VERY cool, Jim! Brad's racecar is a small-mouth 3, plus we have a street TR4 he is fixing up to be his daily driver and a chassis/tub we were going to make into my next racecar (I think I will stick with my sweet Spitfire racer, but we'll see).

That would be funny, to be the 3rd and 5th owner! Good luck getting it back!!
