Think I need a drink

Someone pass me a beer, tequila or wine anything ... as looking for a trailer ... dealing with drs and physical therapy is going to drive this non drinker to drinking ... time to run away

Looking for the right trailer is kinda like looking for a mate in the classified ads. Most you can rule out without making any contact. You know, too big, too short to old too ........ Then there's a few you just have to check out, knowing that the chances are slim that they'll be right for you.

In the end it's persistence and luck that will pay off. Good luck.

with the slump in new rv sales an used airstream in a few years will be even harder to come by.the people that have a good model now are going to be more motivated to hang on to what they have.for a buyer i think now is a good time to be in the market,if you can close the deal with cash.

You can use these search engines too. It searches all nearby areas based on the distance you decide. Searches nearby Craigslists and Ebay. Just enter Airstream as your search term.

Search Tempest - Search Craigslist Faster!

site mash : airstream : combined classified and auction listings

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Tell us what you are looking for, and what your plans are for using your Airstream. Maybe we can help.

oh thanks everyone... if things can't get worse they did lmao my dad had a heart attack .... now he is ok or I would not have put lmao there.

We are sending a deposit on a 34ft in carson city. So that search is over as for the medical well I have thrown the crutches away (not really would fall down) but we are tossing the medical world away and hope for the best ... We will stick around Dallas for a bit to finish Hubbies and get a maintance and just go and enjoy what life we have left

Ken we went to look at one of those and it was pretty bad ... steps were broken, something was wrong with the axle, didn't bother to look at the floor but felt there was some rot as it gave where it shouldn't and had a strong mold odor not sure that was not black mold in the bath. Now we thought of offering a lot less for it and restore it.

Have to run have some folks coming for a Yorkie

Victoria - So glad to hear you've found your trailer. It just happens to be my parents trailer and am glad some one is going to finally take it back out on the road. Steve and I are here in Carson City for a few days and visiting with my sister who is selling the trailer. We have just started full timing in our A/S after selling our home of 30 years. We too have had health issues the last year and a half and want to see this beautiful country while we still can. We both want to wish you well in your endeaver to go on the road in the A/S and hope to see you down the road.

Anne I so enjoy your sister. Sorry about your health issues. It just really is the pits.

I will be honest I am scared to death but I think we will be ok. I think I am more afraid of the what if's

I will get more involved on the forum just right now I am so overwhelmed I can't think... could be getting old I guess.

Now we have to figure out our timing to come pick her up.. I have been looking at all the place to stay and found that you can work part time at some places in exchange for space which is awesome as it will kill 2 birds with one stone... I so worried about just sitting in the trailer 24/7 just wasting away. One issue we may have is the smallness of the bathroom but hubby says he will make do as he is a big man

I hope we can meet up that could be fun plus give me another face to look at beside Hubbies.
