Things that make you go, "HMMM??"

I just don't know what to say here...
I know we Airstreamer's are an eclectic crowd, but People PLEASE!

I saw this on Craigslist, asking $196,000!!!
The ad states "required over 4000 hours to build"... I wounder just how many hours of that was drinking beer or smoking the Ganja?

2007 Mercedes Sprinter Airstream Custom fabricated

OK, it's off my chest... There's the topic, now talk amongst yourselves...

The Mercedes they ruined probably over 100 grand the Bambi 60 grand or so .....
I would want the cab to be diamond metallic silver. but that would have pushed it up to 200 k...to each it's own. or something like that.

I think there was a post showing that rig, maybe a year or two ago. Was ugly then, and now. And way overpriced, no matter what it cost them to build it.

I am going hmmmm, but for a different reason. A Sprinter chassis cab is $40k at most. The used Bambi 19' that gave its life for this is worth about $30k.

I've been daydreaming-shopping Sprinter Class B's. A fantastic Leisure Travel Unity is around $125k, brand new. It has a nicer interior, a warranty, the updated Sprinter chassis...

No doubt this took a lot of work. (I don't even think it's that ugly.) Not sure you can get from the cab into the trailer, a huge hinderance. But the asking $$ is insane.

Tom

Well, just my observation here, but you need to look at where the add originates from to understand.

I've been out there several times, and there's lot of "those" people out there.

Certainly not my cup of tea. Maybe if the cab was painted silver it would look a little better?
