The weather report from florida
Today it is raining for a change. Temperature for Turkey Day in the 45 to 75 range. Not unlike Syracuse Spring weather a distant memory of late, is where my mind reverts on this date. Snow to come soon is their fate, conditions I saw fit to hate. That's all over for me now. Most times I wipe a sweaty brow. Rain is easy, when you wear a sandal, from The Keys to the Panhandle. From now 'til June, weather is first rate. Come on down,to the Sunshine State. Richie Rich,Carry on.

It is also raining in Jacksonville today, and the outside temperature is about 65 degrees. We are over here for Thanksgiving, camped in Lucy. It's nice to hear the rain drops on the tin roof.

Ok
The Ohio weather is about 50 degrees nearer Lake Erie. We have a dreary day and are expecting some sprinkles. Typical Fall day! We are winterized, but may do some dry camping out and about in our trailer. And driveway camping is also a possibility! Happy Thanksgiving to you sunshine state folks and EVERYONE!

It's 37 & windy right now. Walking the dogs an hour ago was an exercise in wardrobe awareness. We haven't seen any early blizzards ... so guess we're a lot like the Floridorans.

The possibility of freezing temperatures in Florida has prompted me to search for an ice scrapper. The best improvised tool I could find is a plastic Bondo putty knife. Life and the fight to keep warm in The Sunshine State is a far cry from my northern days.

We're in the middle of a blizzard here. 8 inches on the ground, and at least 12 more expected. Florida sounds good right now.

I'd be hunkering down in front of a blazing fireplace and a good book in the face of a whopper like that.
It's sunny here and -11°F and we're going skiing. brrrrr.
The best part about skiing is the après-ski.

It's 55 and windy at the west tower hunt camp in the Osceola Nat. Forest near lake city, but it still beats being up north
