Our son, Todd is home. Fortunately his deployment to Kuwait, on the Iraq border, was only 6 months instead of a year. Also thankfully uneventual but interesting. We met with doorgunner, Tim, today and had 'cold ones' he promised in February. Tim, the gentleman he is......Okay hold the chuckles... gave us a tour of his "Black Hangar" and the very interesting aeronautical projects he works on.

I'm very happy your son is back. I know the feeling of relief you get when your son steps onto American soil.

Today my boy landed in Iraq for another fifteen monthes. He's stationed up by the Kurds. Better than Bagdad for sure.

So today before I leave for work I'll be putting my Blue Star back on the Car.
