It depends on what kind of bike. The placement of the pedals, the thickness of the chain, whether it has a rubber or leather seat, and did the rider have beans for dinner or sauerkraut.

This is the most profoundly insane thread I read this year.
Therefore I’ll pretend to be sane. If you agree you might not be right but misunderstanding the point. The guru is off base again.

the brilliant, handsome, talented and respected forum members who have contributed to this thread are ALL correct.
whatever you have decided to do/buy/tow with is the right choice...
in fact it is perfect, beyond perfect, beyond sublime...
tires, axles, heaters, water, genset, trailer pricing, camping local, clubs joined, service centers and so on...
it's all perfect.
there is nothing ne1 may add that can improve upon what is here already.
but anything added IS also correct and wise beyond all time.
even if you should change your mind, i agree in advance with the change.

I am creating this thread as a central place for all arguments.
There are no ground rules except that forum rules must be followed.
Multiple arguments may be going on at once. In fact, that should increase the fun.
So any time you feel like doing any of the following; altercate, bandy, battle, bicker, break with, buck, bump heads, contend, cross, cross swords, disagree, dispute, face down, face off, feud, gang up on, get in one's face, go one on one, hammer, hammer away, hash, hash over, hassle, have at each other, have at it, jump, jump on, knock around, lock horns, mix it up, pettifog, pick an argument, put up a fight, put up a struggle, quarrel, quibble, rehash, row, sass, set to, sock it to, squabble, stick it to, talk back, or wrangle, feel free to post to this thread.
In fact if you are considering a post in another thread that might stir up trouble, try it here first and see what happens.
Those of us who do not wish to participate may feel free to try out the new ignore thread function.
You may start on the count of three.
one... two... three...

Q...why do mice spin?
A...the higher, the fewer.
The meaning has to do with the centrifugal governor on a steam engine - the weight was called the mouse, and as the engine rpm increased the mouse would rise due to centrifugal force. But as the mouse rose, the arm would force the steam valve in the more closed direction, thus reducing the rpm, that is, the higher (the mouse), the fewer (rpms). So for a given setting of the mouse on the arm, the engine would run at a constant speed.

What's next? We'll be forming a grievance committee from the enlightened posters of this thread. If we can find some.
Some of us are surely to be put on double secret probation. Wait, we already could be!

You'se folks need bearing buddies on your unbalanced running gear. Be sure to get a bit of packing grease on the brakes. Put some cinder blocks under the axles while you do this just to be safe.
No posts have been deleted from this thread. This isn't arguing!! For being off-topic, thread to be closed in 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - ....
