What kind of person would allow ferret in their pants? Yes, I agree, it may improve the gene pool. My Toyota truck was made within thousand miles of my house and Pepsi tastes better than Coke, but I don't drink either anymore. Avon was a better trailer. And, just generally, NO!

Pretty sure it was Pepsi. And didn't he catch on fire during the filming of that commercial? 1984...

My vehicles were so crappy back then I carried a can of diet coke in the glove box to clean my battery terminals. In fact, I have it from a very reliable source (ex-girlfriends dad was an exec at coke) that the maintenance dept uses/used diet coke to clean the diesel engines of their trucks.

inquiring minds...

Honestly, I begin my search for products with "not made in China". I'm not opposed to thing made on this continent at all. MakeNorthAmericaStillBeGreatAgain!!!

The Argue Thread

I’ll stick to the occasional beer. Soda gives me stomach acid issues and flat isn’t good for you in the long run...

Moderate amounts of good beer hasn’t been blamed for much...

Why was there never a Yugo plant in the U.S.? Could have been the “YouEssGo.”

The only Coke I'll drink is the stuff they make in Mexico, inexplicably known as "Mexican Coke". Even then maybe two or three a year.

Good beer and I are no strangers, I don't even need to eat bread!

Also, 4 of my last 5 toyotas (I've owned 6 in all, first two were made in Japan and Texas) were made in the states (3 in San Antonio, 1 in Indiana, 1 in Japan). My Last American vehicle was made in Mexico and it was a fantastic auto... except it croaked.

I love Toyota’s. Have a 2006 4Runner that has almost 200k on it, all it has needed is a $100 radiator.

Just bought a new f150 pickup, loved the tundra, but hated the 13 mpg. They need to get with the times and upgrade that thing already

Here is another one, though probably (hopefully) not an “argue” as much as a rant...

It’s “VIN” not “VIN number”.

I’d start a Gripe thread, but I’m sure I’d immediatly offend someone. I’m pretty talented at that apparently...

If ATM stands for automated teller module, then ATM machine is acceptable and you are being arrogant to assume that only one definition is usable.

If "VIN" is short for vehicle identification nomenclature, then "VIN Number" is acceptable, but only if it is a number and not a collection of numbers, letters and symbols, which should be referenced as a serial code and not a number at all.

Your turn - go! Pat

Edit - arrogant hat on and running for the exit.

That fails the old test of a sniff,
Your logic falls over a cliff.
If this item then
Should work time and again
But both of those "IFs" were a whiff!
