I don't think I understand a lot of things I understand!

Can anyone explain this?

Yes,
It is a lack of confidence in your understandings. . You must come up with a set of understandings, and stick with them no matter what. Do not let others influence your belief in your understandings, for your understandings are the only true understandings. Be very careful to not adopt another's false understanding, for that is the path to doom. Just remember grasshopper, the path to true understanding of your understandings is paved with many distractions, Only true perseverance and dedication will lead to a full understanding of all understandings.

It's called the conundrum effect, easy to not understand it if you understand it, easy to understand it if you don't understand it, and really easy to understand when you understand the understandable about it, understand.

I understand, I think

Sounds like Kung Fu to me. They would not cast Bruce Lee because he was too Chinese so they put in David Carradine and made him look Chinese. No wonder Master Po commited suicide. And what did they do with Bruce Lee? Made him the Green Lantern's sidekick Cato!

The confident critical thinker will understand the misunderstandable regardless of a reign of factoids and forbidden thoughts.

Of course. He wasn't too Chinese to play a Japanese sidekick, just too Chinese to play a leading man of any race on American television at the time. Those unenlightened times are thankfully behind us. Now we have Oriental actors such as Lucy Liu, Maggie Q, Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, Linda Park, and others, all playing major roles on television.

Nope, road kill is Cajun food, which is sort-of French. Cajuns will eat anything that's not trying to eat them. And anything that is, if they can get the first bite.

Gosh I miss the good old days before political correctness. When shows like saturday night live and In Living color made fun of everyone and ever thing.

Skits like Handy Man, crusty the clown, and the church lady. Dang those were funny. Ohhh the good old days. tv just isn't funny anymore.

And don't forget Bevis and Butt Head.

So basically Americans stole everything: land, resources, and food. God, you gotta love living in this country. . The best of everything in one place.

Are there any confident critical thinkers left? I see lots of confident people, lots of critical people and some thinkers, but all three together. I don't know. Mostly when I confidently criticize my wife she thinks I'm a jerk. I still do it though. Mostly out of boredom. I think most good ideas come from idle minds and I'm a good example. I need to hit the road again.

Actually, let's do forget Beavis & Butthead. I never have understood why they were supposed to be funny. The few times I watched that show, it made me long for the days of the Roadrunner & Coyote, Sylvester & Tweety, Foghorn Leghorn, Yosemite Sam…

You know, back when animation looked profession and the jokes were clean.

I made my kids watch those on Netflixs and they love them. They love Tom and Jerry. Sometimes they are on cartoon network.
