Hi, unfortunately we didn't get to eat ice cream in our trailer. But we did have better ice cream.

Sounds like, since you were in Colorado, you had the hungries and roadkill would have tasted as good.

For a true epicurean delight in Hood River I had a Guiness float. Guinness Stout with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.

I snagged myself a slice of raspberry rhubarb jalapeņo pie @ The Purple Pie Palace in Custer SD.
No ice cream to dull this tasty creation.

On this desert deal, you are all wrong. Peach ice cream is wonderful if you can find it and wild Maine blueberries are a tasty treat ant time of the day, but the Airstream desert of choice is Mrs Fields cookies with ice cream layered between two. They fit nicely into the AS freezer; are available at all socially acceptable RV Parks, fine food markets, and traveler dives; and if necessary can be tastefully consumed while traveling at a safe and sane speed over the byways of the world. Dainty consumers beware of drips. Others - stock up at every opportunity.

Note - Walmart sells a low calorie version for the folks who overstocked.

Travel safe (no arguement there) my apology for the mistake....it's a habit!

Just know you are wrong if you disagree, argue, or complain. Pat

How about a good bagel? The last really good bagel I had was in Juneau.

I craved ice cream today as we cruised north along the Mississippi. For some reason (my wife's desire was A&W, but I don"t think I've ever been in an A&W before) A&W doesn't have chocolate soft ice cream in a cone, but does have it in a milk shake. So I settled for the milk shake because I HAD to have chocolate. I wanted to go to the Dairy Queen down the road, but no, I had to go to the A&W. No chocolate cone. I lost that argument.

One may think that because we are from Colorado, craving chocolate is a big part of our lives. Normally I do not crave chocolate because I have a lot of it. I figured that out several years ago. What I did crave was a cone with a cold chocolate substance in it, preferably with nuts too. If I found that, I would be a substance abuser. But I had a milk shake. Being from Colorado (or certain other benighted states) is a good thing. I can remember that. if you spend a lot of time in Colorado, it is good the inside of the trailer is small so you don't get lost. Outside can be a problem. We rent Nebraskans to help us get around, but pretty soon they get lost too and ask where the chocolate is.

The title of this thread "The Argue Thread" is fundamentally antithetical to proper argument principles. Presenting a post knowing or at least hoping it will cause an argument is not a real argument at all but a farce argument. The higher value is presenting an idea in good faith it will be accepted in positive regard by your fellows only to find your well planned talking point is the subject of ridicule and disdain.

Oh, no it's not. Why, that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
