I have one simple rule in that regard— only vote for the incumbent party if you want more of the same. If you vote for the opposition party, it may be better or it may be worse in the long run, but at least it will be different!

Yup. I look for 'incumbent' and make them redundant....

Yup. Got it. But since we're supposed to "shorten" our discussion of politics here, I thought I would "limit" my comments, and not "lengthen" anything unnecessarily.

Which is exactly why I named no names. "Incumbent" and "Opposition" can apply to any election, anywhere, anytime, and so is discussion a personal philosophy about politics, rather than discussing politics directly.

Or are we not supposed to philosophize, either?

Why can't others realize that my truck and my model Airstream are the best? My hitch too.

How can that be? Your model Airstream can't even go by itself 'cause it ain't got no engine of its own!

Like I said - it's the best!

It has as roomy a bathroom, kitchen, and bed as much larger models. The only thing you give up is the lounge area. It's super easy to tow, being light and 7' wide.

Edit: Well, some would argue that the 20' has a bigger kitchen.

There is not another Airstream in the world like mine, and mine is best.

Here is an argue topic that I did not find. Which is built better, a current day Airstream or a current day Goodyear Marathon? Consider how many GYM must be manufactured each year and how few Airstreams are being built. Still there are so many issues mentioned in this forum about the Airstream build.

That answer is easy. The Goodyear Marathons are built better. Sure they sometimes blow out, but they also sometimes survive contact with the pavement. An Airstream never survives contact with the pavement!

Hi, but my truck and trailer can bend in the middle; Try that with your Airstream.

Hi, OK, I'll buy that; Now try to back your Airstream & toad into a into a camping space or backing it out of a gas station.

A quote that all Veterans will enjoy

From the Army Officers Handbook, c. 1860:

Enlisted men are ignorant and stupid. However, they are sly and have cunning. They must be watched at all times.

Love it.

I just went to renew a prescription with Optum RX mail order pharmacy (United Healthcare) with my part D Medicare. Copayment for 180 pills is $140. If I just take a RX to my local pharmacy its would cost me $32 for the same medication without insurance. This deserves a major rant.

Well, go ahead and rant, then! We're all waiting with bated breath to read about your righteous indignation and outrage.

At least I assume that your calmly worded complaint is just a teaser for the rant still to come…

(Hey, this is the Argue Thread. We can't agree without putting some kind of spin on it.)

If I told you what we used to say about officers and their wives, it would probably cost me my membership in this forum.
