Jason: Don't listen to Gene, I don't think he is a politician, sounds more like a lawyer to me.... And everyone knows you can't believe anything a lawyer says, unless your paying him :-). Besides that, he can't even think straight, him & barb have smoked so much (who knows what?) they just sit there and stare at one another, can't even argue with each other! They're in a fog!

Jason,
I'm sitting in my recliner in front of the TV. If I turn my head to the right ,I can see the continental divide and a 14.000+ ft mountain. In addition to that Discount Tire is only 2 miles away.
Here's a view of the east end of the west bound Elk Range.

Hi, us city folk have always been told that this is the South end, no matter which way it is facing.

Well, if you're standing to left of it, that is actually the right end. If you ask me, that's just wrong.

Hi, so if I'm standing to the left of it, that is actually the correct end?

A slow boat to China to get a real Italian pizza is perfect, actually. From China to Italy you'd be Airstreaming the Silk Road, and that's a caravan even Wally Byam his own self would be proud of!

I thought the discussion of elk butt might have deteriorated further before we returned to pizza. To answer's Jason's question about Boston's in GJ, it is owned by a Canadian chain, Boston Pizza, and is a bit different and good, though sometimes weird. Nachos as made by Canadian standards can only be said to be Mexican influenced. The American version of Boston Pizza has been Americanized—more fatty stuff mainly (for ex., Caesar salad has twice as much dressing than in Canada). Still a chain restaurant better than most, though the ones in Canada are a lot better than the US version.
Yes, restaurants in western Colorado are for the most part, awful. The Vagabond in Crawford is very good. The Chef, Dick Berardi, is well known around the county and in the Denver/Boulder area. I don't know how much longer he can keep this up because fine dining is not appreciated here, but a trip there is well worth it while he's still there.
Why would anyone go to Italy for pizza? Isn't it an American invention?

This:
The term 'pizza' first appeared "in a Latin text from the southern Italian town of Gaeta in 997 AD, which claims that a tenant of certain property is to give the bishop of Gaeta 'duodecim pizze', "twelve pizzas", every Christmas Day, and another twelve every Easter Sunday,"

I just checked that out. No doubt in my mind now. I have absolutely no life. Sal.

I read it too Sal. I have no life either, but I refuse to believe a pizza with pineapple is Italian.

I joined the club also, I was trying to put off paying bills for the clinic. It worked. Then Elsa just peed on my recliner. Potty training is a pain. Thats one of the 2 year old twins not a dog.
Dog would probably be easier and you can rub their nose in it and wake them for it The other twin Linnea has no problems.

I was going to comment on this but I can not get in touch with my therapist. She moonlights as a game warden and is in the woods.
I don't think I can get back into the club, though.

The whole concept of therapists is just so sad… Imagine, not having one single friend to tell your troubles to over a beer, so that you have to pay someone by the hour to listen to your tales of woe. Especially since once you're done, the therapist will ask you, "Well, what do you think you should do?" without ever actually giving you advice the way a drinking buddy would.
