I disagree, not all AS are created equal. If you don't have a 1968 AS you don't have a real one

So is a lot of so-called Mexican food.

On the other hand, we can't even honestly say, "As American as apple pie." Apple pie was created during the reign of Richard II in England (1381AD was the date of the first known written recipe), long before there were even American colonies.

I just read there is a huge Badminton scandal in the Olympics. Anybody wanna argue about that. It's huge..... Imagine Badminton on steroids. Is this kind of activity even sanctioned in this sport. Maybe so. Maybe they're trying to beef up the ratings. I know you guys don't think this is important but whats next, Croquet....... This has to stop. The IOC under Avery Brundage would have stopped this.

Queens and the Bronx both have White Castle so they are equal in my eyes.

For arguments sake, White Castle dominates In-n-out burger in every way excepting the uniforms. NOW THAT Should start some discussions!

Well I've never seen a White Castle uniform. Do they have to wear little crowns on their heads. I will say they've all got McDonalds and BK beat.

Out here in Seattle there are thousands of small independent drive through coffee or Mocha stands and as the competition has heated up some of the Baristas have taken to wearing almost nothing while making your latte.

Now thats a uniform........

That's why it's badminton not goodminton.

I think I remember picketing the Bronx Boston Post Road White Castle in the 60s because they did not hire blacks.

We have one of those drive through coffee stands in a nearby town, in the parking lot of a shopping complex where a Dollar General is the anchor store.
I'm so glad they keep their uniforms on.

Who wants to argue about bad movies for a while? One of my favorites is Balls of Fire with Christopher Walken as an evil ping pong don and Joe Black as the ponger with a self esteem issue.

An arguable position to take, for sure. Our only "tv" is a '99 Suburban, which gets very poor reception but is nonetheless quite funny and politically incorrect.

I went into a Walmart yesterday in Renton Wa. I was the only white person in there, shopper or employee. Guess trends change.

Look for arguments sake 3 guy burgers kicks all the others smelly burgers and fries, hands down no competition.

If you haven't been there, you may not agree, but then you don't know what your talking about so don't comment.

And if you have been there and don't agree, then you still don't know what your talking about. There matter settled.

I grew up on White Castles, and I turned out fine, even excellent, so there.

As for movies, Rubber. The story of a tire that rolls around and kills those who anger him. If Rubber shows up on the Forum, do not argue with him (or her). It's on one of The Movie Channels lately.

In the spirit of being argumentative...

In Living Color gave us Homey D. Clown ("Homey don't play dat!") rather than Krusty the Clown, who's a Simpson's character.
