ok, hello all

great responses so far.....i've now read a couple of threads i'd passed over....learned some things and laughed some.

also in reviewing my tracks from the year i've wandered into some threads i'd missed the first go 'round.

remember it's not a competion......yes it appears that many folks like a couple of threads.....

BUT there are so many great posts and threads, so let's hear from the rest of you 10k....

tin sista.......come on girl commit or be committed!

and don't forget a link if you've learned how....

my favorite post in 2005 was ....................................

you can do it......

in fact.....i'm thinkin' all first time posters, after an intro, should have to answer this question (ok, i'm just kidding)

cheers

I liked the "What Do You Do For Work?" thread by flamingo-kid1. My runner up would be "I Quit Smoking", by richardt.

While I too like Uwe's thread...I'm gonna throw in another one here

How about the best pic of your A/S thread?

Lots of hard work and fun times represented it that one! Kudos to all ~

Priceless!

Mrs. Tin Hut still brings tear to my eyes!
We just re-read it - it STILL hurts!

HARD to Choose

Forum Dumb "A" of the Month Awards
What is Your Favorite OOPS Story

Both have to rank up there in the top 40. I seriously think that the self deprecating humor and object (or abject) lessons in these two threads are classic. I printed off more than one post and passed them around at work.

Does it have to be 2005?

One of my favorite all-time threads is "Olympic rivet removal and installation" by PeterH-79MH . It is a very well explained and illustrated instruction for a topic all Airstream owners should know. I just love simple instructions that even I can understand. I don't always understand the text but, just like in Playboy magazine, the pics tell all that I need to know.

Thumbs up Special award

I think above all on these Forums we should present all of us an award for Best Performance in a Crisis category.

Throughout this year we have all shown concern and caring for those who have been in need, whether it be through a natural disaster or a personal crisis. I still remember everyone checking in after snow and ice storms and Katrina; and many who have responded after the death of a family member. Of course, we have had the happy times too, births and weddings.

We have all learned so much throughout the year from each other, it would be very difficult to determine the best of anything. I am continually appreciative of all the insight and information that I have gleaned from this forum over the past year. I will never be at the level of many of you, but hope that I may contribute some small glimmer of hope to the other "newbies".

P.S. If my vote counts and you want something official, I'm all for "uwe", too.
