Great thread - photos and links are appreciated. I always wanted to build one but like someone pointed out already, too low on the list to likely make it to reality. Meanwhile its fun to see others into it.

The Mini and a teardrop trailer sound like a cool teaming.

Bluestar. That is a beauty you built!

Saw this homemade one in Roswell NM. WOW what craftsmanship!

Camp Inn

We had a Camp Inn teardrop for over 2 years. They're aluminum sided -- that's what led us to the Airstream. Towed it with a Jeep Wrangler (2 door). We spent 10 weeks touring Eastern Canada in it.

Thanks for the kind words. There are some beautiful teardrops out there. Most made by regular people. The movement has really caught on so now there are many factory built teardrops to choose from. Camp Inn makes the best teardrop on the market. I camp regularly with the owners of the company. Most of their camping friends are their customers. How many manufactures spend their free time with their customers? You have to be very confident with your product to face your customers on your days off.
