Talk about a land yacht!

This is not an Airstream, but what a candidate for a bus motorhome conversion! It would certainly be one of a kind.P.

That looks pretty scary. Heard today at lunch about a guy here in Louisville that is fitting out a school bus to travel across the Atlantic. I thought the person telling my about it was pulling my leg. Sure enough here is the article on it.

Some people have waaaaaaay to much free time on their hands. Maybe this guy would be interesting in some aluminum polishing during his "off time"?

I have actually ridden the Amphibus in Montreal. It was blue and white then, back in the mid-90s. The tour was amazing and terrifying -- right out into the St Lawrence Seaway to the edge of some very fast moving water. As I recall it was about CDN$50 for three people.

Thumbs down Inspection ???

I don't know about that school bus ...

Lets take a look at their U.S.C.G. inspection certificate.

Re: School bus/boat

Can you say "how long can you tread water?"? I knew you could.

Unless the Atlantic is dead calm they had better plan on converting to a submarine.

I agree! After weathering the aftermath of a hurricane in the open Atlantic and we were on a 65' full keeled sail boat. I have seen pictures of what the ocean can do to a vessel, like bend 3/4" ss stanchions

I am NOT signing on for that sailing! But interesting non the less.

A researcher at Texas A&M put a rubber rattlesnake in the breakdown lane of I-35 just north of Austin. Half of the drivers swerved out of their lane in order to run over and kill the snake.

The same thing will happen to this guy. Every freighter, cruiseboat and fishing trawler will try to run it down and sink it.

Just on principle.
