Suddenly I'm 60 !!!!!

When I was 20 years old my Airstream was being built in Santa Fe Springs, near my old high school. I finally bought the coach in Medford, Oregon nearly 10 years ago. It is the best habitat iveverhad !!!

Today I live a simple content life, in a gated senior park only 200 yards from the beach at Oceanside, California. I keep busy as an online consultant and vagabondo.

My 66 Safari is now my permanent quarters and videography editing suite. My faithful companion is a 10 pound Pugeranian named Maile. I'm footloose and fancy free and this Friday I'm taking off in my CamperVan for Las Vegas (not to gamble) to see the Consumer Electronic Show. I am a long time videographer.

After Vegas, I'm going south to Lake Havasu and then to Quartzsite. Will be home sometime in mid January. This looks like a pretty buttoned up forum. I hope I can be of service and make friends.

"Ferry tales can come true
it can happen to you
When you're young at heart . . . "

Aloha,
Bob

Welcome to the forums and I am certain you'll make friends here. A sure tip in Las Vegas is the Pepsi machine. Each time I put in money I got a can of Pepsi, sure winner.

Welcome Bob. Sounds like you have created quite a nice life for yourself. Have fun on your trip and remember that Pepsi tip. Seems like a winner, although I have to say that the pop machine where I work is about as stingy as most of those machines in Vegas.

Our Pepsi machine pays off like Vegas, too...

But at least the Pepsi comes in aluminum cans, so it is a win-win.

Welcome Bob,
My trailer and I were born the same year. Main reason I bought it. We both turn 55 this year. I just hope I get it finished before I turn 60.

Yeah, it used to be like going up a hill and you couldn't see what's on the other side. Now I'm getting pretty close to that crest and the vision is the hill going down and I see that 60 sign starting to come into view.

Gee, I was twenty when my Excella rolled out the doors at Jackson Center, and it's taken me THIS LONG to be able to afford the old girl than I've wanted since I was a kid. In a way, it's a generation's thing, isn't it?

Bob, your 'Stream has been your friend for ten years now. It does not, I assure you, keep any sort of internal chronometer. It will continue to be as good to you as you are to it, and it will probably not mark this milestone as you will!

Happy sailing into a new decade, newly young old fellow Bob. Who knows what delights and satisfactions it may bring for you? I bet you'll enjoy the ride, and some of us may meet you on the tarmac and flash our lights hello.

Be glad you arrived safe thus far.

I knew I was in serious trouble when my barber dropped the cost of a cut to $5 from $10. Said he felt guilty taking that much money for so little work. I'm not sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. Barry

Man, don't you wish somebody would work on you like we work on our trailers to make them last longer?
