Stolen in the UK

I would really appreciate it if anyone could pm me with any info on the whereabouts of this trailer. It was last seen in June at Wansford in the UK if you have seen it since then please let me know the details.

The trailer seems to have vanished and was removed without the owners permission. I have reported this to the Police as stolen from the commercial premises in Wansford, Cambs UK.

I have enclosed some pics of the interior as it was when I last saw it and a pic of the vin that shows some identifying marks. I have more but couldnt upload them.

The vin is 220225D and its A 1960 Safari The red vinyl id numbers are 7951

I would appreciate any snippet of info you have. All information provided would be treated in the utmost confidence.

Many Thanks
Sharon

Act quickly. Make some photo posters and spread them around. Use sources that see alot of territory and "private" areas. Postal workers, package delivery personnel, service company workers...ie. meter readers, cable installers, etc. Airstream Germany web site....Ferry and Chunnel workers.
Is this yours or one of your buyers? Good luck.

Hi

Thanks for the ideas... there are a lot of people keeping their eyes open for my trailer.

It was stored at my old premises.

I thought that it might have been seen at the vintage rallies and I had heard it was at Vintage @ Goodwood

What did the organizers at Goodwood have to say? Did the person register? Perhaps they could contact all the attendees and ask if anyone happened to get the name of the people with it, or what they were towing it with, or even luckier, did anyone take a photo of it where the licence plate was displayed? of either just the trailer, the TV or pics of the people who had the trailer beside it?

Hi Barry and Donna

I have been looking into this too. I have been making some progress through some good connections I have there but its a little slow

I was hoping that some fellow Airstreamers in the UK may recognise one of the pics and add something that the Goodwood people cant

Unfortunately if you arent familiar with Airstreams they all look the same even though we have much fewer in the UK

Many Thanks
Sharon

Sharon,

So sorry to read about your stolen Safari.

Suggest you post the details on the UK forum (www.ukairstreamers.org) - someone, hopefully, may have seen it.

Sharon,
Very sorry to hear that, we will keep you posted if anyone contacts us looking of sell one.
I would advise that stickers and the interior mean very little and will disappear, it is the dings on the body that will help you find her, eg the front curbside has two small dings side by side that are like fingerprints.
regards,
sam.

There is a picture on the website for goodwood: http://www.vintageatgoodwood.com/sha...atgoodwood.pdf

I don't think this was it. This one has an attached awning on it.

Best of luck to you.
