Spring has sprung!

Wanted to share an image of our amaryllis in full bloom. Spring has sprung, at least here in Southern Cal.

Enjoy,

Beautiful flower! Thanks for sharing.

Please pass spring to your right after you have seen it so everyone gets a chance to see it.

Y'know... I've injured folks for such an affront... we have snow piled six and eight feet high... our streets are down to a wagon-path width and there's no where to put any more snow... the wind is blowing at 25mph, and I'm off to blow the snow from yet ANOTHER storm off the parking lot of my apartment building.

I'm sick of winter. Don't EVEN think about telling me it's spring anywhere 'til it's HERE! Grrrrrr.....

Roger

Beautiful!

Our crocus bloomed right on schedule as well. I'll have to take some photos and post them. But if you want images now, you can always go to my post from last year!

Come to think of it this years photos would be pretty much identical, so last years will do!

Here in Missouri we are riding a weather rollercoaster of warm ups followed by wind gusts, sleet, and snow: somewhere between the blooming fruit trees and the ice encased world of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. Thanks for reminding us of warm days and flowers just ahead! ~G

No spring here, we are expecting 16" of snow tonight through tomorrow with high winds creating drifts.

Dang Roger! I'm with ya'. Shoot, today was windy and COLD. Must of been at least a sunny 60-65!! Dunno... far cry from the sunny 84 degrees yesterday...

Did get down to a frigid 34 last night. Or is that tonight...? Can't wait for the weekend... supposed to be in the 70's...

Now, where you live? Artic circle?

Okay, I get it, winter is tough right now. I grew up just outside of Syracuse, New York and have experienced what you guys are talking about. Lucky the USN saw fit to send me out here to San Diego in 1967, and it's little wonder why I decided to stay here.

Just to help you feel just a little better the following image was taken about two hours northeast of here in a little mountain town called Idyllwild.

See it really does snow in California.
