Actually, you will be seeing much more of this sort of thing since the cost cutting measures went into place at AL. the magazine is now produced in Calcutta, India by recently graduated American college students with huge college loans that could not get work here.

Hey, producing this kind of glossy mag isn't cheap. So what if the doors are sometimes on the wrong side in photos and the rally recipe section has curry in every dish. The biker article was supposed to be in "Old Biker Dude Rag" also produced offshore and somehow made it into AL because it is shiny.

Wally forcasted that the world was getting smaller back in the fifties, so getting the year of the trailer off by a few and maybe even the model is all part of the adjustment we all have to make for lower prices, everyday!

ok very funny, and we can ALL help asl cut costs...

so i will gladly volunteer to write and verify the captions for all pictures of rigs....

they will read this way...

"here is john (or betty) with his/her old trailer"

i say skip the year/model/brand issues completely!

cheers

So true - you need look no further than the Tin Hut articles. Why, the publisher can't even afford a word processing program with spell check.
